Another Earth Day is over, and we've cleaned up after the Picnic for the Planet, but our work is far from done.

Here at The Nature Conservancy we conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends. We achieve this through the dedicated efforts of our diverse staff, including more than 550 scientists, located in all 50 U.S. states and more than 30 countries.

Here's some great news, if you support our work right now you can double your impact.

With the support of some of our most committed members, The Nature Conservancy has established a Spring 2012 Matching Gift Fund in the amount of $500,000. With this money we will double every donation we receive through this campaign up to $500,000. That's $1 million helping to protect nature for people!

We need your help to successfully address our most pressing conservation challenges like diminishing freshwater supplies, climate change and dwindling forests. Just imagine how much of a difference you can make when your gift is matched dollar for dollar.
