One dollar plants one tree.
No seriously, planting one tree is really just one dollar.
Think about it this way - for the price you pay for a candy bar or a pack of gum, you could be helping to rebuild our natural world for you and for future generations. Now, that is pretty cool.
Trees are so, so important not only for the wildlife that depend on them, but also for our own health and well-being...and YOU have the power to help The Nature Conservancy win $5000 to plant 5,000 trees in the Atlantic Forest, one of the world's biggest and most endangered tropical forests.
Here's how:
Make a donation - when you hit the big, orange "Donate" button above, The Nature Conservancy gets closer and closer to winning $5,000. What a fantastic opportunity for nature!
If we raise the most out of nine charities, it means an additional $5,000 - or simply put, it means 5,000 trees.
Let's count it! $5000 = 5000 trees. Those dollars, if we win, will turn into actual native trees planted in one the world's most ecologically-important rainforests, The Atlantic Forest in Brazil - which is disappearing at an alarming rate, only 7% still remains.
