HERE'S THE STORY:
My story...
On January 1, 2011, I am participating in the Polar Bear Plunge. This is one of the many events along the coast where a bunch of crazies will take a quick ocean dip to ring in the New Year. When we get out of the water, we can easily go find food. The REAL POLAR BEARS are not so lucky...
CNN, The History Channel, NatGeo, The Discovery Channel...All have documented the effects of global warming on many species around the world. For the polar bear, global warming means a diminishing food supply. What can your support do? Keep reading...

I would like to raise money to relocate Polar Bears that are in a struggling area of the Arctic. With the ice melting, many of them will starve if they are not relocated to an area that is a bit more stable, and has a reliable source of food. Dispite their image as a bear and a carnivor, they can be a loving, caring and playfull animal. Thank you for your support!
