In July, 2010, the Friends of the Ann Arbor Skatepark is trying something new and we need your help! We’ve set a goal of raising $7,000 during the month! The best Part is that the $7,000 will be matched dollar for dollar by The Washtenaw County Parks Commission!
Starting July 1st each donation of $7 or more will be put into a drawing for 7 fabulous prizes:
1. Bern Helmet
2. Signed Jamie Thomas Deck
3. A2skatepark bundle, t-shirt, mug, key chain
4. A Vans book (from Acme) with A2skatepark t-shirt
5. Darkhorse Skateboard Deck
6. AWK Skateboard Deck
7. Launch Skateboard Deck
Also, we’ll be having many July events to help meet our $7,000 goal…
The first opportunity will be on July 4th. Walk or skate with us in the Ann Arbor Jaycees 4th of July Parade. Line up it at 9am! http://www.a2jaycees.org/july4th.cfm

Finally, volunteer to help at our non-profit booth at the Ann Arbor Art Fair Wednesday, July 21st to Saturday, July 24th. We're looking to get 50 volunteers to cover 2-hour shifts from 9am-9pm W-F, and 9am-6pm Saturday. Click the link below to sign up (you may even win a MacBook Air!).
