The Project Self Sufficiency Foundation supports Project Self-Sufficiency
Project Self Sufficiency (PSS) is a City of Huntington Beach program which assists highly motivated low-income, single parent families to achieve economic independence. PSS is a public-private partnership between a very caring community and the City of Huntington Beach. The program requires grants, private funding and community partnerships to provide the needed support to participant families.
Your support provides individual case management for PSS participants; education and training support; transportation and housing assistance; food, clothing and household living supplies; and linkages to community networks of support. This assistance allows highly motivated, low-income single parents attend school and gives them the opportunity to work toward permanent independence. Together we can give a “hand up” to families in transition.
