As well as being a web-developer/designer, a mother, a partner, an amazing cook and an absolute whizz with a toilet brush, I am also incurably creative! Over the years I have learned to make all my own Christmas/Birthday Cards and Gift Tags, design cross stitch charts and even write poetry (feel free to satiate that urge you now have to applaud) but in 2008 I picked up my very first pastel and, boy, wasn't that a life changing moment - I filled my walls with paintings of my beloved wolves!

But I didn't stop there...oh, no...anything that sat still long enough ended up on my easel (metaphorically speaking) and I now have a cupboard FULL of pastel paintings of nature, people, animals, wildlife (yeah, they didn't sit still for as long as the other subjects but I managed!) and all sorts of other stuff.

And now, not only do I have shedloads of paintings (and walls filled with wolves *sigh* such beautiful walls I have now...), I also have an opportunity to make a lifetime dream come true. How? Read on, Macduff!

I love all living things (especially wolves) and I always hoped that one day I would be in a position to do something to help others and, when I came across an organisation called the "Art4Good Foundation" on Facebook, I found the perfect way to achieve that goal. Through their guidance and support, I am now able to use my art to help raise funds for global causes and charities including wolves which I am passionate about. How superbly smmmmmmmmmmmmmmashing is that?

And now, having discovered Crowdrise (insert great wodges of superlatives of your own choosing here!), I find myself amongst the most amazing group of like-minded peeps who are absolutely inspirational in their committment to making a difference. What a rush! It feels like I have finally found my way home and I am soooo looking forward to re-acquainting myself with the folks (and wolves) from my dreams! ;)

Anyway...I may be a newbie here but I am also a "Rebel With A Cause" (or 2...or 3...or 8 and counting...) and I intend to howl about my projects here every night and every day...well...until someone tells me to shut up, that is...then I will howl even longer and harder...cos that's what Rebels do, y'know!

By the way...did I mention that I'm rather partial to wolves???
