On July 28, 2012, I will run 61 kilometers (40 miles) in honor or the 61 Connecticut service members that have died in combat. I will run 1 mile for each family.
The Run for the Fallen will honor of all those who have served us, past and present. It will
honor our fallen heroes and their families with an annual running event paying tribute to them. In 2010 Run for the Fallen CT raised over $5,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project with the first annual Run for the Fallen CT event. 2011's event surpassed that amount and included a 61 kilometer (40 mile) run ending at a track where an event had been going on all day.
