The South African Education and Environment Project is an award-winning non-profit dedicated to serving children and youth in the impoverished informal settlements (townships) of Cape Town through academic support and personal development programmes.
SAEP helps beneficiaries realise their potential by helping them build academic and life skills, prepare for productive employment, and contribute as leaders to South Africa's economic and social development.
I worked with SAEP twice already. It's amazing how eager the kids are to study for their future. They dream of becoming doctors and lawyers. SAEP provides them with the opportunity to have a chance in life and get out of the townships.
