I was a Film Industry Executive/Producer for 25 years and traveled and lived around the world with my home base in NYC. Seven years ago I went on my first trip to Antarctica - and I never looked back - 9 expeditions later I started this Foundation with two extraordinary scientists and a great Board of Advisors. We have to raise a lot of money for our research and most of it comes from large foundations and corporations. BUT, there has never been anything more fulfilling than Crowdrise - where we get a chance to show YOU what our scientists do - and where we have gotten such an enthusiastic welcome. It gives us hope for the future of our planet -
The foundation is about saving Antarctica's precious wildlife through research that will address the conservation imperative through the changing of Krill fishing laws and long line fishing methods that endanger seabirds. Melting ice, Krill and long line hooks are our "mantra".
