Just a "small town girl" from Washington DC, I moved to NYC two years ago with big hopes and dreams to make a difference in the world.
I have many passions. Theatre. Music. Nature. World History. I've been lucky enough to have all of that in my life here in this fantastic city.
Theatres all over are closing because they are losing much needed financial support. Go see a show. See it again and take a friend or a person off the street. Live theatre really is a magical thing to be a part of. Give an actor or a techie a PB&J sandwhich, or a package of Ramen. Trust me... those go a long way during 12+ hour rehearsals.
Currently I work for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum which is the most humbing organization to be a part of. Since our opening day on September 11 we have seen over 2million visitors from all over the world! Getting to touch the lives of so many people in such a special place still gives me a warm feeling in my heart. I encourage anyone who has not done so to come see our beautiful memorial.
I selected rock because even though rock is strong it is effected by the elements around it. Eventually over time the rough edges are smoothed down, and it becomes polished and beautiful.
