National Wildlife Humane Society wrote -There are less than 3,200 wild tigers left in the world. Half of these wild tigers are located in India. National Wildlife Humane Society and Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) have recently forged a conservation alliance to benefit three vital and important tiger protection projects in India. This new program is called "WTI - Wild Tiger Conservation Program". NWHS considers it an honor to assist WTI in their conservation work to preserve and protect the remaining wild tigers in India. Although this WTI-NWHS Program is new, the wild tiger projects have been operating for several years with a solid background of many real accomplishments.
