We are joining a team of 150 strong on May 20th for the Annual Bay to Breakers race and partnering with the 104 Girls of Daraja in Kenya to raise money to support the new class of 2012 -- Your gift will provide access to education for an exceptional and promising young Kenyan girl who has no other way to get it...join us and make a difference to someone special! From the coast, and traveling inward about an hour, there is a dry, desolate place called
Ganze. This is where Jesica comes from. She is one of 8 children, and her family was
often mocked and mistreated for their poverty. She says, “I have never experienced a good mood until Daraja.” This statement is surprising as Jesica finds humor in everything. She may be about 4 feet tall, but this girl has big, big dreams. Once she finds her voice and with the right opportunities and training, she could be a powerhouse in her country.
