Dropping by to send you a March vote, and, as I have a little Irish ancestry in my family tree, share a little St. Patty's Day sentiment...

"An Old Irish Blessing
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!"

Hey Scott, February vote …
Hey Scott,

February vote coming your way! If you get a chance check out our computer fundraising project. After some AMAZING Crowdrise support last month we’re incredibly close to reaching our goal for a new computer center here in South Africa.

As always, if you’re looking for a great project to join we’d love to have you. As a bonus for all new team members....I will write you a personalized poem rhyming your name no less than 3 times :) (quality of poem not guaranteed)

Also, definitely check out our cool new website and follow along with the photo/stories of some awesome kids doing some equally awesome stuff! (www.KohScholar.org)

Thank you again from the very grateful kids in the Imagine Academy,

Corey

The volunteer hours are those you report as having served for/relating to your project(s). To "log" in your hours, you go to your project page, and hit edit; then look for the entry for the hours volunteered. What shows on your profile page is all the combined hours from all your projects. So on my page, I "log" or report all of the hours where I have participated in charity walks or charity shows (I am a belly dancer...all local shows are for one charity or another).

Never apologize for asking questions :) The more you know here, the more successful your compaigns will be :) Feel free to ask anytime. This site is full of wonderful people. If one of us doesn't have an answer, we will find someone who does ;)

The best advice I can give y…
The best advice I can give you is to be visible, active and social. i see many people cone on this site and think that the money will make itself once they set up a project. But fact of the matter is, fund raising is hard, especially in this economic climate. Get to know some people here on Crowdrise, and follow Crowdrise on Facebook and Twitter. Network your causes, using links tor either your profile or project pages, on other social networks like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, blogging sites, et cetera. Update your status here often, to show people you are active...Each time you update your status, it also shows on the general stream on CRs homepage. It's a lot of work, but it is rewarding :D Hope this helps :)
