STUFF ABOUT ME:
I am a Co-founder of Project Enlighten, an officially registered non-profit organization in the USA. I am a Wildland Firefighter with a Federal Agency and have been committed to volunteer and charity work since childhood. In my late teens/early twenties I completed a voluntary two year commitment to AmeriCorps* National Civilian Community Corps, a continuum of my service learning. In 2004 I met Co-founder of Project Enlighten, Asad Rahman, our worlds were brought closer by a shared common ethos, that all human kind shall have the right to a life of respect and dignity. In 2006 we put together the foundation for what later became "Project Enlighten." While our key focuses are education, sustainable community projects environmental health & safety, providing non-discriminatory cultural, religious & social support and economic assistance, we strive to help people living in poverty fight for basic human and civil rights.
Project Enlighten is a registered 501 (c) (3), Non Government, Non-Profit Organization, in the United States of America. The organization aims to provide non-discriminatory charitable giving that shall encompass education and humanitarian assistance to international communities based on need. 100% of donations go to the programs and people we support (REALLY)!
