The Silverlake Conservatory of Music is a non-profit organization, created in 2001 to fill the void in the cultural landscape of our community. We offer the people of our area the opportunity to study music with exceptional teachers at a reasonable price. We grant scholarships to deserving children, providing free lessons and instruments.
Our mission is to facilitate basic music education. Our primary focus is on the youth of the community but all are welcome and encouraged to participate. The Conservatory offers private music lessons at a reasonable cost and grants scholarships to children in need, providing free lessons and instruments. The study of music enriches the life of the student as well as the community and society.
The Silverlake Conservatory of Music is one of the finest facilities of its kind. We feature eight sound proofed and air-conditioned studios, providing a comfortable learning environment. Our Sunset Blvd. location is easily accessible. We feel we have exceeded our hopes in providing the most conducive environment for the study of music.

I just learned about Silverlake Conservatory of Music by accident. It is just a coincidence that I am the Exec Director of the Boys and Girls Clubs of St. John's who is beginning a similar program within the club beginning in September. My dad was a very influential music teacher in this city (an amazing American jazz trumpet player) who had a gift of inspiring kids to love playing music. I guess there is a lot of that in me and I hope I can deliver. I love that I can look to the success of Silverlake for my inspiration. Keep up this important work!!!
