HERE'S THE STORY:
You're the best fundraiser there is. And we're counting on you.
Crowdrise makes it easy to build support for the Skatepark from your friends and family. Here's how it works:
1) Click the "Help Us Fundraise" button to the right and create your own copy of this project. Customize your project with photos and video, if you want. (See the easy guide at http://www.crowdrise.com/about/how-it-works)
2) Use the "Create A Team" button to share your project with family and friends. Tell them you've been visited in your dreams by a ghostly skater on a glowing silver skateboard who dubbed you the Greatest A2 Skatepark Fundraiser of all time. Or share your story of why you think Ann Arbor needs a skatepark. Make it your own--the more personal your appeal, the more successful it's likely to be.
3) Ask them to support this cause you care about--and then invite them to join the team and reach out to their friends and family, too. Let's start by trying to raise $100 each. If 100 people can do it, that's $10,000 for the Skatepark.
4) We'll sweeten the deal: everyone who raises $100 for this project will automatically be entered in a drawing to win a brand new Macbook Air. We'll draw the name of our Maximum Fundraiser during the Art Fair in July.
It's easy: join the team, raise $100, score a chance to win a cool Macbook, and help get the whole community working together to build the Skatepark! All with the click of a button.
