THE STORY:

For the past few years I have supported Smile Train, a charity non-profit organization devoted to fixing cleft lips and palates of kids around the world. After sponsoring kids at Christmas time and receiving photos of their fixed faces I found myself tearing up at the power of a simple gesture.
I have a chance to do something more grand and meaningful in terms of its scope. My goal is to raise enough money to change 100 kids' lives for $250 each. Donation amounts are kept discreet.
With my great friend Colin Brown driving as support I'll be riding my bike solo over 500 miles from San Francisco to LA from May 6 through May 12, 2012 and I would love to have your help for the cause.
There's a rough schedule and route on my blog @ http://www.nigelstewart.org/2012/03/rough-smile-ride-route.html

If you are able to donate there is a processing fee from Crowdrise that is optional. They kind of sneak it in there so be mindful when making your transaction.
