The Iowa Center for Public Affairs Journalism is a non-profit news organization that is tax exempt under 501(c)(3) of the IRS code. We publish IowaWatch.org, a news website that produces investigative and explanatory journalism. I do this for free with the help of 10 volunteer student journalists for the sole purpose of producing and promoting investigative journalism in Iowa and educating journalism students in the traditional news gathering methods that I spent 33 years practicing.
