Last year, more than 205,000 individual seals were killed during the seal slaughter, and Canada will soon begin its annual merciless murder of seals for their fur, where the ice runs red with blood, again. There is no larger commercial massacre on the planet.
Despite the majority of Canadians against the hunt, thanks to government subsidies and increased harp seal quotas over the past ten years, the seal hunt is back and worse than ever.
