WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME:
Sarah Katherine (aka Suki) was born at 39.5 weeks with no complications. She was always a great baby, very laid back, mild tempered, and went with the flow. It was assumed that she did so because she was the fourth baby. However, around 10 months, it was hard not to notice that there were so developmental delays.She was not really rolling over, not crawling, just beginning to sit independently, and was very low tone.
At 13 months, her mom made the call to Early Intervention and shortly after, she began therapy. By Jan. 2010, Suki was enrolled in the Bell Center for more services. In the earlier months of therapy at the BC, she was not really responding to her name being called, made little eye contact, was scooting everywhere on her bottom, and seemed to be in her own little world.
We are now at the Bell Center 4 times a week, continuing with EI through Hand in Hand and continue to go to outpatient PT and Speech. Her sisters love her to death and are her biggest fans and therapists. Momma and Daddy are learning through this journey to be more patient and thankful. Her Church family has come together as one and have realized the importance of a community and the power of prayer.
