HERE'S THE STORY:
The Prayers From Maria Foundation is encouraging runners participating in the Cleveland Marathon to join our team in an effort to find a cure for deadly childhood brain tumors known as gliomas.
This is the 3rd year that our team, known as the "Sunflower Striders", has participated in the Cleveland Marathon. Our goal is to raise awareness about gliomas, and to raise money that will help fund our next research grant. We have set this year's goal at $20,000! We encourage our team members to start their own fundraising page on Crowdrise to help us reach our goal and find a cure for gliomas!
This year we are offering incentives/rewards for those individuals who fundraise! This includes a free Nike Dri-Fit Sunflower Striders shirt, Massage Envy gift cards and finish line grandstand passes for the family of our top fundraiser to enjoy watching their loved one cross the finish line!
