David Blaine is my favorite magician (next to my cousin Jeremy... He's family, I have to like him more) and I would love to win this contest and have David Blain personally teach me a cool magic trick. Just a small donation of 5 dollars would help me toward that goal, but more importantly, would help get fresh, clean water to those who so desperately need it.

Can't you find some extra money that you would normally waste on something you really don't need, and use it for something so good? I'll bet you can. After all, If you don't give back no one will like you.

In four years, Charity: Water has raised more than $20 million and funded 3,196 water projects.

They are out to provide immediate and effect relief, and you can be sure that your donations will go to practical and simple projects that will help provide water through freshwater wells, rainwater catchments and sand filters.

In western culture, I think that it can be hard to even imagine what people in developing nations go through on a day to day basis. Some will travel and wait 8 hours for a turn to fill up an 80 pound jug that they will have to carry all the way back to their homes.

We take clean water for granted all the time and yet so many people in Honduras, Kenya, Malaw, Uganda, etc have limited to no access to this vital and most basic necessity.

The fact is there are over a billion people on the planet who don’t have clean water, and we can do something to help.
