THE STORY:
Last year, I attended a 4-day transcendental mediatation retreat and it has played a major part in the many positive changes in my life. I’m living in a disciplined way, do lots of yoga, exercise and transcendental meditation.
I truly believe first hand that this practice does wonders with your mind, body and soul. Now daily practice is putting distance between myself and addiction. I’m living in a disciplined way, doing lots of yoga, exercise and Transcendental Meditation. It’s not half good. They give you a mantra … You feel attuned to a consciousness that is beyond your identity and beyond life.
The David Lynch Foundation has the immediate goal of teaching one million at-risk youth to meditate. The foundation has already provided more than 100,000 scholarships for students to learn the Transcendental Meditation technique, as well as inmates and guards in prisons, formerly homeless men in re-entry programs, soldiers with PTSD returning from Iraq and Afghanistan, and American Indians suffering from diabetes.
The Lynch Foundation helps students relieve themselves of stress. Using this technique, their hope is that it will carry on into their lives throughout adulthood. This technique is not a religion or philosophy and does not involve concentration, control of the mind, or change in lifestyle.
Your contributions will be used to pay for Transcendental Meditation program instruction fees and scholarships for students in approved in-school programs.
Please help support this foundation by donating or joining my team to help support the cause.
Even the smallest donation makes great strides to improving and adding programs.
Thank you.
