At the Atlantic City Rescue Mission we serve the most disadvantaged people of society. The homeless, the sick, the addicted... those who have nowhere else to turn can find shelter here. We provide more than immediate food and shelter. We offer programs to change lives for the better. The Work Readiness Program is a 120 days of job skills training. The Overcomers Program is a one year recovery program for homeless people. AtlantiCare operates an on-site primary care unit with a substance abuse component located right in the Mission facility. We have an entire floor called the Family Life Center for homeless women and children. Other programs include: Transient Detox Program, Crisis Diversion Unit, Collaborative Hold, Hope Program, Prison Re-Entry Program, and community services for homeless prevention. By joining us as a Team Member you can provide the basic provisions for someone in poverty and build a pathway for people to reenter society. Visit us at www.acrescuemission.org
