Team ALS Raises More Than $38,000 for
The ALS Association Greater New York Chapter
in 2010 ING New York City Marathon!
When 45,350 runners left the starting line on Sunday morning for the ING New York City Marathon, ten of that number were running to find a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
The ALS Association Greater New York Chapter had a team of runners in this year’s marathon who raised more than $38,000 for the charity and counting. Team ALS members were chosen for the charity’s guaranteed spots by applying directly to the chapter with the reason they wanted to run to raise money to help find a cure for ALS. Read more.
