BENEFITING: A LEG TO STAND ON INC
THE STORY:
Join ALTSO and help level the playing field for children with limb disabilities around IN Bangladesh.
ALTSO provides free prosthetic limbs, corrective surgery and rehabilitative care to children in developing countries who have lost their limbs in traumatic accidents or were born with limb deformities. Our mission is to offer such children the physical capabilities needed to access the opportunities and self-esteem earned through education, work and mobility.
Since 2002, ALTSO has treated more than 8,500 children in more than 15 developing countries throughout Asia, Africa and Latin America by implementing effective and sustainable programs in local hospitals and clinics.
A donation of $25 provides a brace to help correct clubfoot, and $250 provides a below-knee prosthetic leg!
