Team "M.D." is walking in the JCN 5K Care Race L'ulei Nishmas (in memory of) Danny Berkowitz, z"l (Dovid Avraham Nesanel ben HaRav Yaakov Yosef Tzvi.) A true Ba'al Chessed, Danny was always about what he could do for others; the hallmarks of his fine character were Avodas Ha'Klal (serving the community) and Avodas Ha'Boray (serving Hashem.) Danny was honored to perform--as part of "Menucha"--on behalf of JCN and "the caring people at the Jewish Caring Network" held a special place with him because of the wonderful work they do for Baltimore families facing chronic or life-threatening illness.
We are also walking L'ulei Nishmas Bracha Bassheva bas Yosef Aharon.
And YB"L, we hope that our participation in this event will be a Z'chus for a Refuah Sheleyma (complete recovery) for Yosef Shmuel ben Miriam, Rachayl Tova bas Yehudit Esther, Zev Mayer ben Yael Sara, Devorah bas Rochel and Chaya Esther bas Fayga Yenta.
