THE STORY:

Sanctuary for Families is the leading nonprofit agency in New York State dedicated exclusively to serving domestic violence victims, sex trafficking victims, and their children. Each year, we help thousands of victims and their children build safe lives through a range of high quality services.

For the third consecutive year, Sanctuary is a proud Bronze Charity Partner of the ING NYC Marathon. This world class running event is an unparalleled way for Sanctuary to raise awareness and support for our work providing life-saving services to domestic violence victims and their children.

If you are running in the ING NYC Marathon 2011, and would like to dedicate your training to a worthwhile cause, Sanctuary for Families is asking you to sign up to fundraise for our work.

Every dollar you raise through your marathon fundraising campaign will help to end domestic violence in our communities by ensuring that victims and their children receive the needed services to achieve safety, and move forward with their lives.
