THE STORY:

Thanks for visiting my page! It's OFFICIAL, I have been formally invited to run in the 116th Boston Marathon! This will be my first marathon and I'm excited to partner with Team John Hancock to help raise money and awareness for Center for the Development of Teen Empowerment. I would really appreciate your encouragement, prayers, and donations! As you can see, my fundraising goal is $2,000 which by the way is 100% tax deductible. We are so honored to have the support of Team TE, the men and women dedicating themselves to both training physically for the Boston Marathon and raising much needed funds to support Teen Empowerment’s efforts to empower urban youth to work as leaders and improve their own lives and their communities. We deeply appreciate their generosity and hard work and are proud to count them as a partner in our efforts to save lives, bring hope to urban teens, and help young people use their talents to address the very serious issues that confront their communities.

With the help of our Team and all those supporting them, Teen Empowerment will touch the lives of more than 5,000 urban youth and adults this year and inspire them to work together to address the most critical issues in their communities. TE provides young people with the tools they need to work together and use their unique talents to effect powerful and positive changes. Team TE helps to raise the funds that makes that possible.
