THE STORY:

Trevor Project, Inc. wrote -

Made up of a small staff, and an army of volunteers everyday here at the Trevor Project we, as an organization and as individuals, reflect on how to simultaneously prevent teen suicide and spread awareness. To show that a future where possibilities, opportunities and dreams are the same for ALL youth, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. Trevor Lifeline is based out of three major cities but the organization has grown to not only include saving lives but to build communities and change society and culture through public policy, research and creating a lifeguard workshop program.

We are pleased to present an opportunity to create TEAM TREVOR and run in the 2011 NYC half Marathon. We plan on bringing on the TEAM TREVOR spirit this year to the streets of NYC and raising some great money to help support are rapidly growing demand for more staff and voices. We appreciate your support in helping us raise awareness and acceptance. We certainly appreciate all of your support to our courageous runner's and their amazing efforts to raise money to keep us going strong for years to come!
