HERE'S THE STORY:
We’re bringing together the biggest names in tech media for a nationwide fundraising campaign/interactive listening party on turntable.fm – all for an amazing cause, One Laptop Per Child (OLPC).
It's a fundraising, music and tech mashup. It's Tech the Halls, and this is your official invite!
Our goal is to raise $10,000 – the equivalent of 50 laptops – all through crowdsourcing and social media. These aren’t just any old laptops – they’ll be going specifically to students with disabilities, helping make education and technology more accessible than ever before.
You can click here to find out more details, but really all you need to know is this: the biggest names in tech will be duking it out in live DJ battles, with YOU as the judge.
Best of all, the money raised will be donated in the winning DJ’s name!
