Thaakat Foundation is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization, whose aim is to empower, inspire and promote charitable giving and volunteer work among students and young professionals, while pushing for curiousity and care of global society. We transcend cultural and religious boundaries to create a network of individuals that look to this organization as a project of their own; where no matter your race or creed, you are united with a group of people who share a similar desire to help. We work on building a strong network of knowledgeable and passionate individuals in helping spread our message of unity and charitable giving.
Our global division organizes self-sustainable relief projects for underprivileged communities worldwide in Pakistan, India, and Africa. We aim to assist those communities whose needs often go unnoticed as they live in rural, overlooked areas. Each global project we embark on is studied in detail as we receive timely updates by our local contacts in the respective regions.
Our local division works in spreading volunteerism and social awareness across communities and leads volunteer events around the US, having organized 30+ events in the past.
