BENEFITING: The Art of Elysium
HERE'S THE STORY:
The Art of Elysium is dedicated to enriching the lives of artists and critically ill children. They believe that there is a powerful and mutual exchange of hope and appreciation that occurs when artists share their time and talent with children battling serious medical conditions.
The organization provides artistic workshops in acting, art, comedy, fashion, music, radio, songwriting and creative writing.
The Art of Elysium is truly doing amazing things. These children, who may have little hope, now have someone that they look up to interacting with them, whether it be with music, art or writing and it really means so much. Just to watch them smile for a day really shows what a difference one person can make.
Please help me in my effort to support the Art of Elysium. We need to continue to provide these services to children in need. Your donations can help fund art kits, music & visual art workshops, self esteem programs among many other important activites.
Here are just some of the items/activites your donations will help fund:
$25 - Provides an Art of Elysium Art Kit for one child to paint, color and be creative while receiving treatment at the hospital.
$50 - Provides one music workshop for a group of hospitalized children, including instruction & performance
$100 - Provides corrective make-up and instruction for four children who have facial disfigurements.
$250 - Provides a digital camera for a child to use and keep during one of our very popular photography programs
$5,000 - Provides a years worth of weekly visual arts workshops at one of our partnering hospitals.
