Also, check out our New Photo taken in the Sloth Sanctuary, Costa Rica. The Beautiful Daily Diary's Rebecca Cliffe, is conducting work out there now. The thing is that sloths are lovely, gentle, peace-loving animals that often suffer at the hands of humans. They get electrocuted from power lines and misused, for example, one animal was even used as a football by local boys. Not good. The sloth sanctuary helps rehabilitate sloth victims back into the wild but also supports sloth research. We are helping them to look at sloths by using the Daily Diary. The idea is to find out about the secret needs of sloths so that we can help protect them in the wild and rehabilitate them better.
Dr. Rory Wilson is renowned for developing ingenious ways to track wild animals and record their behavior without directly observing them. The precious data he receives will revolutionize research into the lives of threatened species in order to save them and their habitats.
