It all began in 1990, when Samburu women accused some brtitish soldiers of violence and rapes.
Instead of investigating and defending them, husbands and familiars’s reaction was to threaten them with death for bringing shame to their homes. That was when it was founded the “women village” in the heart of the bush . The Samburu ladies defied the centuries, their traditions where femininity has been transformed into a commodity exchange, as objects ,no rights, choises and will. These woman had made it, but I think they still need help to ensure that their rights continue to be met…so click on the "Join The Team" button and help me raise money to get start the Samburu Project...."
