BENEFITING: Invisible Children

THE STORY:

After seeing the support that my favorite band has given the charity Invisible Children, I felt a natural outgrowth of my love and respect for them was to help benefit their cause.

I think nearly anyone who sees the band in concert, who owns their album, who experiences their music in some way would agree that there is a core passion and decency in their songs that awakens something in you. Something that is difficult to ignore or set aside. Watching the videos on IC, being so wholly humbled by the struggles of the children of Uganda and their active supporters, and feeling like I am very lucky to have easy access in my life to something so hopeful and good as the music of Mumford and Sons, so came the idea for this project.

What is Invisible Children? Invisible Children uses film, creativity and social action to end the use of child soldiers in Joseph Kony's rebel war and restore LRA-affected communities in central Africa to peace and prosperity. www.invisiblechildren.com
