Stuff About Me:
Since I was a little girl seeing people suffer or people in need has had a profound impact on me. My heart literally breaks a little bit every time I see someone struggling for the basic things some of us take for granted. My first fundraising experience was in elementary school to raise money for AIDS awareness and a cure. I have now been fortunate enough to become involved with many charities over the years, from the Save Darfur Coalition to Millennium Promise and many others in between and all around. I am currently involved with Feeding America (formerly America's Second Harvest), Action Against Hunger, Doctors Without Borders, and World Vision on a regular basis. I know my efforts make a difference. I am glad I can help my brothers and sisters all over the world. You can, too. Enough about me! This isn't about me! Let's get to the point and the real reason for all of this...please join one of my project teams, donate, or create your own projects - just do something.
