We all have the opportunity and the ability to give. Our giving allows us to touch the lives of those who we might not ever met or know. Knowing that you had the ability to affect their lives in some way shape or form makes the "WHY" we do what we do fullfilling. Teach a Kid to Fish was started 4yrs ago by Dr. Karla Lester who quit her practice to create community solutions for families to live a healthy and active lifestyle while fighting the childhood obesity epidemic. Her vision and passion is the reason why I am running.
