ROCK PAPER OR SCISSORS: Paper
Nearly 40 mother of 2, happy, balanced, earthy, loving, giving and love the six degrees of separation, helping others, raising awareness, advocating for those who do not have a voice or aren't sure how to get heard. My kidneys have Alport's syndrome, and I have no idea what that means for my future, but just know that there are researchers out there working night and day to find a cure, so I feel that I need to do all I can to raise awareness on the disease so funding can be provided to aid them in reaching their goal, resulting in possibilities of health and longevity for many people who live with and die from this disease every year - quietly, with no hope. I also want to see what else is going on out there, what projects are underway, what organizations are doing way, who's making a difference and in what way!? I have a project background and enjoy being involved in many different things, love to write, edit and research - if you are looking for someone to do a little bit of work with you to get yoru project underway, to a new phase or do some other type of work that noone else wants to do on your team...let me know and maybe I can help you out!
WHY YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME:
I am VERY new to the whole idea of fundraising, but I'm very blunt, honest and direct in my approach to life, and pretty much everything in it - so I feel that I can be a really strong advocate for causes which need a strong voice. Namely - Alport's Syndrome!
