From now until the Trojans and Bruins meet each other on the football field this November, we are reaching out to the Trojan community to raise funds and awareness for innovative research into underfunded cancers. Don’t worry. The Bruins have their own fundraiser. Yes. It is competitive. And yes, we know about the intense rivalry between these two schools that are located less than 12 miles apart. 

The Rivals United for a Kure campaign brings both sides together to unite on something we can all get behind:  the fight against cancer. All of the money raised for Kure It Cancer Research will be granted to research projects at USC’s Norris Cancer Center and UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center. Our goal is to raise $1 million for each school, so we need you to rally your friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues in support of the effort.

Best:   Create your own team to raise money. Maybe have a friendly competition with another department in your office. Accounting vs. Sales, for example. Not that accounting and sales would ever be considered rivals.
