From the team leader, Veronica Marroki -
As many of you know, I am the community outreach coordinator for USCRI-Detroit, a refugee resettlement agency. We constantly hear this population's struggle for freedom and the trauma they have endured along the way. Upon arrival, countless numbers of refugees are sleeping and sitting on floors, have nowhere to sit and eat a meal, have clothing piled up in suitcases, and are using what little necessities they were able to bring with them on their long journey.
Please support my efforts by making a donation - there is no donation too small. Every little bit will help us get to the greater goal of supporting refugees' transition to a DIGNIFIED life. Here is a simple way to make tax deductible donation to support me and the community :)
My goal is to raise $3,000 to help furnish 3 needy families' homes.
