Stuff About Me:
I'm a crazy girl from Virginia who loves people. I love stories. I love knowing peoples stories. Everyone has one, and yet every story is so different. There is so much pain in the world, and so much that seems unfair, that I want to listen to those stories and do my best to help.
I have worked at an elementary school with all kinds of children. I love kids! I think it's only right that all kids have the opportunity to not only eat, and have a roof over the head, but to learn and to be able to be a kid! This is something I will fight for. No more invisible children!
My mom currently is battling Sarcoma. She has it over 4 of her organs. I have a 10 month old sister. Fortunately I have a VERY supportive family, and we have GREAT friends to help us. Not everyone is as lucky. I want to do all that I can do to fight cancer. This disease must be stopped.
Lastly. The Gulf. Every time that I think about the spill in the Gulf, my heart breaks a little bit more. The fact that it went on for so long is unacceptable. We have to do everything that we can to protect and preserve our Earth, and the creatures on it. This is our home! We have to take care of it. I hope to go to New Orleans soon, to help in whatever ways I can.
