BENEFITING: LOUIES KIDS INC

EVENT: 2012 Whole Foods Market Yoga Marathon to benefit Louie's Kids

EVENT DATE: Oct 06, 2012

THE STORY:

In honor of the passing of our friend Dara Watson, Verge Solutions is excited to get involved with the upcoming Whole Foods Yoga Marathon on Saturday, October 6th.  It benefits Louie's Kids, an organization dedicated to fighting childhood obesity.  Dara believed in Louie's Kids and participated in the Yogathon, and this year’s event will involve many of the yogis that she trained with and studied under.  

 

Our fundraising goal is $2,400. This amount allows us to sponsor two kids for a semester to participate in FitClub, an after school fitness education program.  Each class costs $40 and teaches kids how to exercise, eat right and believe in themselves. Please donate what you can- Thank you!
