Volontaria presso CIACC ( CAMBODIA INDIPENDENT ANTI-CORRUPTION COMMITTEE) per tre mesi. Il mio compito? tutto quello che riesco a fare! compreso cercare di non far chiudere i battenti a questa fantastica struttura dall'aspetto fatiscente ma incredibilmente attiva ed energica. La gente di tutta la Cambogia viene a chiedere aiuto qui ( ho visto con i miei occhi arrivare contadini dalle province più lontane). CIACC si occupa di GIUSTIZIA. La Cambogia è uno dei paesi più corrotti del nostro pianeta e una delle svariate conseguenze di questa situazione è il crescente numero di comunità urbane e rurali cacciate (=demolizione immediata di case, campi e strutture presenti, intimidazioni, violenze e arresti arbitrari in caso di opposizione da parte dei locali) dalla LORO terra dalle autorità. Con la scusa di volervi cominciare progetti per lo sviluppo sociale ed economico del Paese, queste terre vengono usate per costruire strutture turistiche, case private per politici e loro amici, piantagioni e palazzi i cui lavori sono appaltati ad imprese principalmente cinesi e vietnamite.Lo stato insomma vende le terre della sua gente e si intasca tutto. Solo che qui chi rimane senza terra rimane senza cibo. NON SI PUO' PARLARE DI PROGRESSO ED EDUCAZIONE SE MANCANO CIBO E CASA.
