Approximately 4 billion people on this planet live on less than US$2 per day with limited access to economic opportunities, health care, or technologies such as toilets and light. These are things that make our lives simple and healthy. These are the things that we strive to bring to others around the world.
At Vort Port International (VPI), we believe that we live in a global community, and that what happens to those around the world affects us all. We work to alleviate poverty by increasing access to basic necessities, such as light, heat, and transportation, for those who live in impoverished conditions. We do this by incubating ideas that solve global social issues. Our vision is to help create a world where people can empower themselves and their communities through social enterprise.
To reflect our mission, we have started the VPI Solutions to Empower People (STEP) Racing Team. Each step our team takes will be made with the goal of alleviating global poverty and making our world a better place.

By committing to run for the VPI STEP Racing Team with a $400 charity runner fundraising goal, you will receive training tips, be featured on our website as part of the team, and a technical running shirt.
If you raise up to $500, you will also be receiving a running hat.
