HERE'S THE STORY:
I am so honored and excited to be walking for L'Oreal in the Live Your Best Life Walk with Oprah!
I became a spokesperson for L'Oreal in 2008. What impresses me most about L'Oreal is the company's commitment to empowering women. L'Oreal wants women everywhere to not only take charge of their beauty, but to also take control of their health and well being.
In 1997, L'Oreal Paris made a long-term commitment to raising awareness for ovarian cancer, which continues to build.
As part of this committment, I am supporting this cause by walking for Live Your Best Life and becoming a fundraiser for Ovarian Cancer Research.
Did you know that the five-year survival rate for ovarian cancer has increased by only 8% in the last 30 years? This is an alarming fact. We must step up our support of research.
The walk will take place on May 9th in NY city. Please sign up if you can.
