National Wildlife Humane Society wrote -
Top Of The Rock Wildlife Sanctuary was founded 20 years ago, on a remote mountain top in north central Arkansas wilderness. It was later the "cause base" for National Wildlife Humane Society (NWHS).
NWHS moved the headquarters from Nashville, TN to the same location as the sanctuary a few years ago. NWHS has grown to include wildlife conservation field allies, working hard in various parts of the world's wilderness, but the sanctuary remains in operation.
Top Of The Rock is a No Buy, No Sell, No Breed, No Exhibit sanctuary, with no commercial exploitation of the animals whatsoever. There is no gate for the public, so no exhibition revenues.
The wildlife at the sanctuary are not exposed to crowds or public traffic, nor exposed to any commercial pressures. They fall asleep every night to the sounds of deep forest wilderness in calm natural surroundings. Because there are No commercial ventures, Top Of The Rock depends totally on charitable donations.
It was a harsh winter along with a harsh economic climate as well. Your donation, whether small or large, will be extremely helpful and appreciated. No one is on a salary at Top Of The Rock (nor NWHS) so your donation will go 100% to assist the wildlife and sanctuary facility.
NOTE: Donate $35 to NWHS or this Project and Patrick "Catman" Webb (founder/director of Top Of The Rock) will send you a copy of the CD "Signs Of Life". The original factory pressed run is sold out, but Catman will burn you a personal copy and mail it to you as a Thank You for your kindness.
