First of all, Crowdrise is amazing. It makes it so easy to help each other out. I can't believe it took me so long to come across this place.
I am raising money for a couple of charities that are personal to me. My amazing cousin, Carolynn, was diagnosed with Lupus, and I want to raise as much money as I can to help find a cure. My other project Parker Paws is a great organization that helps the stray and abandoned animals in my community get the help they need to be adopted by a loving family.

If you have any advice for a Crowdrise newbie, please don't hesitate to share :) I just arrived in South Africa to work with some Imagine Scholar students, but were trying to raise a small amount of funds to provide clean drinking water for them.
