THE STORY:
In the short time I’ve been working here, Witness has changed my life forever. It has opened my eyes to issues going on in the world that I was previously unaware of and allows me to combine two of my passions, film and encouraging change. Never before have I been surrounded by so many people who genuinely want to help make the world a better place and are so enthusiastic about their work.
Even after having her most basic human right to be treated like a human being taken away, Anne Frank still had enough faith in humanity to write, “In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart. I simply can't build up my hopes on a foundation consisting of confusion, misery and death.” I never understood how anyone who experienced that much pain and sadness could ever believe in mankind again, and then I joined Witness. Just one day at Witness made me see what Anne saw, to believe that we still have a chance, and a responsibility, to change the world and make it a better more peaceful place for EVERY human being.
