THE STORY:
I want to raise money so that I can attend YEAcamp and get the skills I need to make a difference in the world of animal rights activism!
Ive been vegan for over three years and it is something I'm extrememly passionate about. Ever since I was little, my father was a hunter, and I grew up in a family that taught me and my sister that it was okay to eat animals. A special part in my heart always believed that was wrong, and once I was old enough to do some researching on my own, I concluded that it, in fact, was wrong. That's why I decided to go vegetarian, and after a year, I went vegan as well.
Now, I want to spread the message of love and compassion among as many people as I can. I want to touch people's hearts and make them desire to reach out to animals like I have. My goal in life is to just make atleast one person change their lifestyle because what I have taught them. I know that there are many people like me and my sister that have grown up in a culture where it has been 'okay' to expose and eat animals. I want to show these people that that is not the case, and that there are other ways of living.
I hope that after attending YeaCamp, I am able to have the skills, confidence, and education that I need to be the most successful animal rights activist I possibly can.
I want to make a difference.
